1. Nature of Services

Lice Happens Georgia provides in-home lice screening and removal services. These services are non-medical in nature and are intended for cosmetic removal and educational purposes only.

We are not medical providers and do not diagnose, treat medical conditions, or provide medical advice. Clients should consult a licensed healthcare provider for medical concerns.

2. Client Responsibilities & Required 14-Day Protocol

To maintain eligibility for the 14-Day Lice-Free Guarantee, clients agree to complete the following:

a. Daily Damp Quick-Combing for 14 Consecutive Days

• Hair must be combed every day for 14 days following service.
• Hair must be dampened before combing (never dry).
• At minimum, dampen with conditioner.
• Best practice is dampening with conditioner plus enzyme-based foam.
• The Nit Free Terminator comb must be used. Substitute combs (including Rid/Nix combs) are not sufficient.

b. Required Communication During the 14-Day Window

If concerns arise at any time within the 14-day period, clients must notify us within that window.

Clients must email [email protected] and include:

• Exact questions
• Clear photos of findings
• Date of combing
• Name of the individual combed
• Confirmation that hair was damp and detangled
• Confirmation that the Nit Free Terminator comb was used

Communication during the 14-day period is required for any guarantee consideration.

3. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

We require at least 12 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Cancellations made with less than 12 hours’ notice, or failure to be present at the scheduled appointment time, may result in a $125 late cancellation fee, which reflects reserved service time.

By booking an appointment, you acknowledge that this time is reserved specifically for your household and agree to this policy.

4. 14-Day Lice-Free Guarantee

Our service includes a 14-day follow-up protocol designed to address the lice life cycle.

If, after completing the required protocol and maintaining communication, live lice are confirmed and no new exposure has occurred, we will return to re-treat the originally affected individual(s) at no additional treatment charge.

Refunds are not provided under the 14-Day Lice-Free Guarantee.

Clients must allow Lice Happens Georgia the opportunity to evaluate and, if applicable, re-treat the originally serviced individual(s) before any refund or alternative resolution will be considered.

5. Additional Services

If additional services are requested during a follow-up visit—including new head checks, treatment of additional individuals, or unrelated concerns—those services will be billed at standard rates.

A discounted travel fee will apply to return visits when applicable.

6. Payment Terms

Lice Happens Georgia provides in-home services with pricing based on hair length, time required, and travel location.

By booking an appointment, you agree to the following fee structure:

Travel Fees

$125 — Service locations within DeKalb, Fulton, and Cobb Counties
$225 — Service locations outside core counties or any appointment scheduled on/after 5:00 PM

Treatment Fees (per person)

$125 — Short hair (above the shoulders)
$175 — Long hair (at or below the shoulders)

Additional Service Fees (if required)

$75 — Detangling fee (when hair must be detangled prior to treatment)
$35 — Head check / screening service

Follow-Up Services (if needed under the 14-Day Guarantee protocol)

$75 — Follow-up travel fee
$95 — Follow-up treatment fee

Payment is due at the completion of service unless otherwise arranged. All service fees, travel fees, and product fees are non-refundable once services have been performed.

Lice Happens Georgia reserves the right to modify pricing, service fees, product fees, and promotional offers at any time, with the rates in effect at the time of booking being honored for that appointment.

In the event of continued lice activity, clients must allow Lice Happens Georgia the opportunity to evaluate and, if appropriate, provide follow-up treatment under the terms of the 14-Day Lice-Free Guarantee before any refund request will be considered.

7. Promotional Offers & Bundled Inclusions

From time to time, Lice Happens Georgia may advertise promotional offers or bundled service inclusions.

Promotional offers apply only when a full in-home treatment is performed unless explicitly stated otherwise.

For current promotional campaigns, a Professional Care Package may be included at no additional charge when treatment is completed. This bundled inclusion may consist of:

• Waived head check fee when treatment is performed
• Professional-grade enzyme foam
• Medical-grade nit comb
• One-on-one education and aftercare protocol guidance

Standalone head checks, travel fees, and non-treatment visits are not included in promotional offers unless specifically stated in writing.

Promotional offers reflect the stated retail value of bundled services and products; however, they have no cash redemption value, are not transferable, and may not be exchanged for credit or combined with other discounts.

Lice Happens Georgia reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue promotional offers at any time, including during an active campaign period.

8. Limitation of Liability

Lice Happens Georgia is not responsible for reinfestation resulting from new exposure, failure to follow aftercare instructions, or exposure outside our control.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the original service.

9. Scheduling

Follow-up visits, if needed, are scheduled within designated service windows based on route availability.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.
