1. Nature of Services
Lice Happens Georgia provides in-home lice screening and removal services. These services are non-medical in nature and are intended for cosmetic removal and education only. We are not medical providers and do not diagnose, treat medical conditions, or provide medical advice.
Clients should consult a healthcare provider for medical concerns.
2. Client Responsibilities & Required 14-Day Protocol
In order for the 14-Day Lice-Free Guarantee to remain valid, clients agree to complete the following:
a. Daily Damp Quick-Combing for 14 Consecutive Days
Hair must be combed every day for 14 days following service.
Hair must be dampened before combing (never dry).
At minimum, dampen with conditioner.
Best practice is dampened with conditioner plus enzyme-based foam.
The Nit Free Terminator comb must be used. Substitute or rid/nix combs are not sufficient.
b. Required Communication During the 14-Day Window
If concerns arise at any time within the 14-day period, clients must notify us within that window.

Confirmation that the Nit Free Terminator comb was used
Communication during the 14-day period is imperative for any success guarantee.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
We require at least 12 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Cancellations made with less than 12 hours’ notice, or failure to be present at the scheduled appointment time, may result in a $125 late cancellation fee, which is equivalent to our reserved service time.
By booking an appointment, you acknowledge that this time is reserved specifically for your household and agree to this policy.
3. 14-Day Lice-Free Guarantee
Our service includes a 14-day follow-up protocol designed to address the lice life cycle.
If, after completing the required protocol and maintaining communication, live lice are confirmed and no new exposure has occurred, we will return to re-treat the originally affected individual(s) at no additional treatment charge.
Refunds are not part of this guarantee. Clients must allow us the opportunity to provide follow-up service in order for the guarantee to apply.
4. Additional Services
If additional services are requested during a follow-up visit—including new head checks, treatment of other individuals, or unrelated concerns—those services will be billed at standard rates. A discounted travel fee will apply to return visits.
5. Payment Terms
Payment is due at time of service unless otherwise arranged. Service fees and travel fees are non-refundable once services have been performed.
6. Limitation of Liability
Lice Happens Georgia is not responsible for reinfestation resulting from new exposure, failure to follow aftercare instructions, or exposure outside our control.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the original service.
7. Scheduling
Follow-up visits, if needed, are scheduled within designated service windows based on route availability.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.
