2) Education.  Lice infestations are rampant and transmission rate is increasing, so it’s imperative for families to understand exatly how lice are transmitted, eradicated and prevented.  Our philosophy is thorough education & empowering families with facts. 

Our clients who come to us often complain about previous “lice salons” NOT investing the time to teach about treatment or prevention. Salons have large overhead in rent, so need families to come back and spend more $$.  Educating their clients is not a priority, so families get lice again and again (and again).

3) Quality Control.  All of our specialists are trained specific to Lice Happens product and process.  “Lice Salons” do not follow standardized process, with specialists “who do there own thing”, so zero quality control. 

4) Family run and local. When a business is family run and local, that means reputation, quality control and attention to detail are critical.  We are not run out of some far away office with no knowledge of what’s really happening “on the ground” with our staff and our families.

We leverage an all natural 6-step process. Hair needs to be cleaned & detangled prior to our visit.  Ideally, we set up & work in the kitchen, where lighting & seating height is best.  We check everyone in home, usually starting with least likely to most likely. 

Yes! We guarantee our process, of which the family (YOU) is part of.  While we would love to say “hey we got 100% of head lice out” – there is zero way know that to be fact unless we shave heads!  Why?  Because a few stubborn nits (super glued to hair shaft) and nymphs (burrowed in the scalp) may be left behind.  What does this mean?  That a quick comb needs to be done daily for 10-14 days, depending on degree of infestation. 

Effective eradication and prevention (remember – 1 in 4 gets head lice) is not an easy button of a one-and-done, so a follow-up is imperative to the success of eradicating this infestation and avoiding future ones!

Requirements for guarantee? All family members + caregivers available at initial visit for checking + treatment. A daily quick comb of infested individuals for 10-14 days to be completed.

Due to the over-use of the OTC products (causing head lice to mutate & grow resistant) and lack of education, the numbers are rising.  One in four (25%) gets head lice and one in ten (10%) always has head lice.  So if your child’s classroom has 30 kids, you can assume that 3 in that class have it at any one time.

Head checks are $35 per head; the treatment fee is either $125 or $175 per head, depending on length of hair (head check fee waived if we treat). Additionally, there is a service fee of $125 for Fulton, Dekalb, Cobb & Gwinnett counties. We may, depending on situation, serve other counties, so please inquire.
